Youth
Adventist Youth MinistriesThe primary focus of the Adventist Youth Ministries is the salvation of youth through Jesus Christ. This ministry works to: 1) lead youth to understand their individual worth and to discover and develop their spiritual gifts and abilities, 2) equip and empower youth for a life of service with God’s church and the community, and 3) ensure the integration of youth into all aspects of church life and leadership in order that they may be full participants in the mission of the church. Meetings, church-wide youth days, recreational outings, community outreach projects, musical programs, and other events are used to accomplish these objectives.
Pathfinder ClubThe Pathfinder Club is a church-centered program for junior youth, ages 10 to 15. This program provides an outlet for the spirit of adventure and exploration. It includes carefully-tailored activities in outdoor living, nature exploration, crafts, hobbies and other vocations. Examples of Pathfinder activities include camporees, fairs, craft study, nature exploration, Bible study, witnessing projects, field trips, bike-a-thons, and many other interesting adventures.

Pathfinders Online.Adventurer ClubThe North American Division Adventurer Club serves a multicultural community of children in ages 4-9 (grades Pre-K to 4th), their parents, and care-givers through a holistic ministry. The purpose of the program is to support parents and care-givers in leading and encouraging their children in a growing, joyful love relationship with Jesus Christ. It offers an instructional curriculum, family enrichment, supplementary resources, and volunteer training from within the Seventh-day Adventist philosophy. The Adventurer program works to fulfill the gospel commission (Matthew 28:18-20) and depends on the support of a congregation strong in mission and empowered by the Holy Spirit.
Sabbath School (Youth)
The Sabbath School is the primary religious education system of the Seventh-day Adventist church and has four purposes: study of Scripture, fellowship, community outreach, and world global mission emphasis. Youth classes meet weekly just prior to 11:00 divine worship service to study God's Word with age-appropriate Bible Study guides. Childrens and youth classes range from ages 2-20 and are open to everyone. In the summertime, Calvary offers our annual
Vacation Bible School (VBS) which is a fun-filled, spiritual adventure for boys and girls from 3 to 12 years of age that is held for one week. Structured as a free outreach program, children are encouraged to invite their friends and children from the community. A new Bible principle is introduced and reinforced each day. With fun take-homes and craft projects, catchy theme songs, and Bible drama, children get excited learning about Jesus. Vacation Bible School focuses on meeting children's spiritual needs at their level and helping them get to know Jesus in a personal way.
Home and School
The goals of the Home and School ministry are to educate parents in cooperation with the church and school, foster the wholistic development of the child, promote positive working relationships between parents and teachers and to work with the church in providing funding so that all children are given the opportunity to attend an Adventist school. The home and school ministry also encourages interest and participation in school activities by church members, parents, and friends. It does take a village to raise a child.
